A family holiday in Spain has ended in unimaginable tragedy after a father took his own life just hours before the first anniversary of his baby daughter’s death.
Daniella Robb’s fiancé, Robert Davidson, died late last Tuesday after falling from a sixth-floor hotel balcony at the Sandos Griego resort in Torremolinos, Costa del Sol. Emergency services pronounced him dead at the scene.
The loss came at a heartbreakingly painful time for the family. Robert’s death occurred only hours before the one-year anniversary of the death of their daughter Hollie, who passed away at just seven weeks old from sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
According to Daniella, she was asleep in the hotel room with her two children when Robert returned shortly before midnight. He kissed the children, told them he loved them, and then left the room. Moments later, the family’s world was shattered.
