Trevor Moore, Comedian and WKUK Co-Founder, Dies at 41

Trevor Moore, the acclaimed comedian, actor, and co-founder of the sketch comedy troupe The Whitest Kids U’ Know (WKUK), tragically passed away on August 7, 2021, at the age of 41.

Moore died from blunt force head trauma after an accidental fall from the upstairs balcony of his Franklin Hills, Los Angeles home. The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m., and toxicology reports later revealed that alcohol was a contributing factor, with his blood alcohol content measured at 0.27—over three times the legal driving limit. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner ruled his death an accident after reviewing security footage that confirmed there was no foul play.

A prominent figure in comedy, Moore was known for his work with WKUK, The Trevor Moore Show on Comedy Central, and projects with Disney. He is survived by his wife, Aimee Carlson, and their son.

Following his passing, WKUK members Sam Brown, Zach Cregger, Timmy Williams, and Darren Trumeter shared their grief, remembering Moore as their “best friend” and the “driving force” behind the troupe’s creative success.
