Savannah Guthrie Pleads for Mother’s Safe Return: “We Will Pay”

US news anchor Savannah Guthrie has made an emotional public appeal for the safe return of her missing mother, Nancy Guthrie, who disappeared from her Tucson, Arizona home last weekend. In a video posted to Instagram on Saturday evening, Guthrie appeared alongside her two siblings, addressing those believed to be holding their mother.

“We received your message, and we understand,” Guthrie said. “We beg you now to return our mother to us so that we can celebrate with her. This is very valuable to us — and we will pay.”

Authorities believe Nancy Guthrie was taken against her will during the night. She was reported missing after she failed to attend her regular Sunday church service on February 1, prompting concern among fellow congregants. Investigators later discovered that a doorbell camera at her home had been disconnected, and the app connected to her pacemaker was disabled around 2:28 a.m. local time.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that no suspects or vehicles have been identified so far, but officers are maintaining a security presence at the family’s request. The FBI has joined the investigation and is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to her recovery.

Federal authorities are also examining the authenticity of a potential ransom message sent to multiple media outlets. According to reports, the note allegedly includes a monetary demand and deadline, with TMZ claiming the kidnappers are seeking millions of dollars in cryptocurrency.

As the investigation continues, Guthrie’s plea has drawn national attention, with family members and law enforcement urging anyone with information to come forward.
